anyone here do car transportation?

a mates just bought us a bit of a project motor, 1974 split screen VW camper van! he's got a love for em and i just wanted something else to mess with. only catch being it's in blackpool and we're in loughborough, it's got no mot or tax so driving it back really isn't an option.

anyone here either up for the job or know anyone reasonable priced who will be able to pick it up and bring it down here?

got until weekend of the 23rd to sort something i think before he losses his deposit.

cheers
john

Slightly off topic for your question, but I think the split screen camper stopped production in 1967, so I hope you/your mate are not disappointed...

yep you're right that was a bit of a fook up on my behalf, was asleep when he rang all excited only listening to half of what he was saying. what he actually said was he'd given up on a splitty due to stupid prices so he's bought a bay model. can't say i know a great deal about them personally so thats my defence

transprortation issue is resolved now too thanks to my gaffer doing a complete turn around and now letting me use the company wagon for the day. thanks to Rich for the offer though
