Is that yours? If so, you need a bike engine! (just before Hellfire comes along)
I was going to, but thought I'd limit myself to bike engine/anchor comments first!

As a respected senior member of the forum I doubt very much whether anyone would say anything. If the truth were to be told that's what we're all thinking though.

Bike engine, I can frighten myself easily enough with a 2.0i Pinto!

With a bit better technique I think I could better 0-60 in 6 secs and 0-100 in 18 secs? What would that equate to in a 1/4 mile?

Bit of a guess, but probably something around 14-15? I'd expect mine to do it in 13ish. Could be miles out with this though.
Oh, on the technique bit, whilst I'm by no means a pro, it did look like you had a fair bit of spin off the line, which will only slow you down.

I like it! Very casual, one hand on the steering wheel until you get to the ton!

What do you expect from a bike engine? I am hoping to upgrade to a car engine soon

Mine should hit 60 in ~4/4.5 and I have no idea to the ton, but I'm in 6th in not long. Can't check for a while either as my exhaust tip went walkies.

Ive recorded 9.8s 0-100 with my R1 book Locost and the standing quarter in 12.9 something, both on an airfield (ie not Santa Pod levels of grip) but with proper timing gear for the 1/4 mile.

Nothing special, my old Yoko 509s which refuse to wear out and are crap on the track. A032/48s etc are a lot grippier, but I was getting similar 60ft times as a couple of mates in their BECs with softer rubber, so it didnt seem to affect it too much.
