Simplifying engine choice????
ummm think I might have to ditch the zetec and get some duracells!

No, no, no!
It'll end up like battery drills.
Start off with a 12V, then get a 14.4V, then upgrade to 18V, then fit a 24V, finally going to a 36V!!
Arrrggghhh, then twin motors, then four motors etc etc.
