Looks nice, but then so did Star Wars Empire At War and LoTR which both turned into "move around open up the contrived map set up to help the

For these type of games Total Anhilation is still the best by a long way.
If you dump the resource part the Combat Mission and Close Combat win the day  They certainly are the best two wargame type games I have played.

if base building isnt your bag, Company of Heroes is incredible
(needs a porky PC though..)

I agree Total Annihilation was THE RTS game for me.
This does look quite TAish, but then again the lead developer is the guy who did TA 
I just hope it turns out to be the TA2 i hoped for rather than the TA-Kingdoms crapthey brought out.
