depends on the mods, for a simple chip or lowering most mainstream will quote on it but you have to ring them as they don't offer the options via their websites. otherwise try adrian flux or some of the kitcar type insurers as they do modified tintops aswell.

Depending on car I can highly recommend A-Plan Insurance (Thatcham). I just insured a PPP modded WRX for £795, nearest other quote was 1200+!

They insured my Indy for £145 too

I have used either Adrian Flux for years and they always beat any quote I give them....seem very good. Insured all manner of stuff with them.

Interestingly my bro uses Norwich Union, always tells them the mods but they never seem to listen and it never seems to change the quote. He always asks to make sure they are recording the call!!!

He reeled off the stuff on his manta and had the phone on the loudsspeaker......they said "has it got a bodykit"......no, is it lowered, no..........but it has tarmac rally bilsteins all round, engine from a 1993 cavalier gearbox from a late c series manta, brakes from a calibra, braided brake hoses, rose jointed suspension..............."oh none of that matters" after enough of a pause to mean -none of that understood- !!!!!!!!!

Depends on the type of car.
I use www.pw-f.co.uk for my insurance needs, fantastic service, excellent claims management too.

Try Footman James. Not only did they quote less than a 1/3 of Adrian Flux, they do not have the stupid rule which means your insurance is cancelled if you do not pass sva within 45 days (30 plus 15 extension) of the start date.
Not only that you would lose all your premium too for the priviledge!!!!!!

Knowing Insurance Companies, I bet it will suddenly matter if he ever tries to make a claim

Are Adrian Flux just a front for other companies?

I organised my insurance with them but it was through CIS and they certainly wanted to know EVERYTHING!

I even had to list who had carried out the Modifications and what Qualifications they had!

Maybe moreso because of my age but atleast if everything is in writing and declared you can sleep easy at night lol

No, they are a broker, which means they are acting on your behalf, so it's in their interest to get the facts right.
