The swamis
I feel the need to share this with everybody, I have know about this local band since my dad introduced them to each other i always thought they
sounded interesting but havent heard them for a while,So i went on to there site the other day a was totaly blown away they have matured in to a
quality outfit ,they have a very origonal sound and well written songs see what u think?

Ok, here goes then, listened to one track, got bored, didn't listen to any more.
Nothing wrong with it - just didn't stand out from the crowd.
Now I saw this guy last week supported 'The Flaming Lips' (who were totally fantastic) - thoght he was pretty good:

here goes-listened to one track-got bored
didnt listen to any more
just another acustic artist,nothing special we have lots localy.
The fact that you like the flaming tips would explain why you didnt like the swamis the lips are an aquired taste at the best of times.

Saw 'Get Cape' on the BBCs coverage of the Reading Festival, he was just doing a small acoustic bit for them.
Really like his/their music, acoustic, but with abit more thrown in. Some have a modern almost drum n bass beat to them.
