Tin Top Problem
Daughter has a 1.2 single point injection 1200 corsa. No power on full throttle but drivable if accelerated gently. Ignition timing at tickover was a
few degrees AFTER TDC. Sorted that and its much better but amongst the tests I did was to check fuel pressure. 0.9 bar but it is single point fuel
injection! Seems very low. Anyone know if this is right or what it should be. My zetec is set at 3 bar but it has four injectors.

fuel pressure for single point vauxhall is spot on at 0.8 to 0.9 bar multi point is 3.0 bar
if i also remember correctly you need to bridge pins in the ALDL plug before ignition timing is adjusted

Thanks for the fuel pressure setting but what is an ALDL plug when it's at home? Just moving the dizzy, which is a hall effect jobbie and no
crank or cam sensor, seems to have transformed the car.
