How about one of those pad things that you can practice anywhere with. Dunno what they're called (prob practice pad!! he he) but useful for
tapping away anywhere, any time. Wish i had one when i was drumming.

Yeah, I've seen those pratice knee pads before, try
here. Never used one but always thought
they would be useful when told to stop tapping!
Also that site (One Voice Music) is great if you're into percussion as well. I've spent too much
money with them in the past
They also do a lot of teaching as well IIRC.
