With a winch on front it probably would.

Impressive, though he'd have been in a lot of trouble (as would the spotter) if the cable had snapped.
On a 7 it would have flown up (at least until the low ground clearance ripped the floor off )

We could all do that if we had a winch attached, but there would be some repairs afterwards.

That's like those things they build in Iceland - they were on Top Gear once, I think

What a bunch of Idiots. If that cable has snapped, the forces built up in there would have sliced anyone in range in half.
I have seen a rear cross member pulled off the back of a Land Rover, and I dont mean a rigged stunt like on You Tube or wherever. The Tow hitch came
away with the rust and embedded itself about 1.5" deep in a large tree. If it had hit anyone it would have been death or very serious injury.
Warn 8274 Winches are some of the best winches, and are very powerful.
If you see anything like that ... Stay WELL BACK. Yes its great to see and watch... Not so funny with a 50mm towball stuck in you skull or chest.
I have driven a Land Rover as my daily drive for the past 12 years, and been an active member of our local club... All great fun... but you cant bee
too safe.

Why do you drive or build Kit Cars?
Same reason as why people climb mountains and jump out of perfectly airworthy aircraft........ Cos you CAN

They tested that on mythbusters a while back and proved it was most unlikely to chop you in half

Any car can do that with the winch doing all the work.
Especially a Locost weighing less than half as much as Jade Goody

1980 Z750
