Incoming Paypal

I'm going to show my ignorance (again!)

I have a Paypal account that I use to buy stuff. This works nicely.

I have been advertising some surplus stuff lately, and quite a few people have asked whether they could pay by Paypal - but I have no idea how to do that.

How do I set it up, how do people pay me money, and how much do Paypal take as commission?

cheers,
David

The e-mail address you use for paying with your paypal account is also the way you recieve as well.

So basically just tell your buyers the e-mail address for your account and they can send the money straight away.

As for commision.

I'm sure i wasnt charged at 1st for transactions, BUT i exceeded the limit when selling a load of parts on ebay before christmas and had to upgrade my account

It seems i can still draw my money to my bank account for free if over £50 ( i might be put right on this) but a small charege if under.

Also i noticed they now grab roughly 4.5% when recieving money for any incoming transactions, also i may be put right on this as well.

Since they are grabbing so much i now empty my account when under £50 by buying anything i need as quick as possible because i'm not letting the thieving buggers use my money.

I like the old cheque or even better cash
