Iveco daily warning light?
Went with a friend of mine to collect his new truck, 2.3hpi iveco daily.53 plate 44k miles
salesman said one of the dashlights has lit up even though it WAS ok (he's waited around 8 weeks for the truck to be serviced/mot'd
etc.)
The warning light looks like a fuel injector spraying. its lit up in red
As there's no handbook,anyone got any idea's?
Think my mate is being screwed,as he (the salesman) said it's been put on a diagnostic/fault code reader but nothing showed up? (they all do
that sir)
now the truck comes with 12 month's warranty, so if anything goes wrong it should be sorted.
But they knew the truck was defective before it was taken so should rectify it even if it's not covered under the warranty?

Saying that, my Volvo display lights the lambda light if you bog the engine down a bit, I reset the engine management and it goes away till next time
I nearly stall it.

These do that quite often when the engines cold or if uv tried to start it and its not quite fired when u turn the key back. They shouldnt do it but
they do. Iv put quite a few in the dealers for this and there is nothing wrong.
I wouldnt have bought it without a handbook and with a light on though i have to say..
