My wife passed me my mail this morning, saying "you can't afford anything!". Didn't understand what she meant until I saw the Burtons catalogue...

Those Cosworth Duratec engines look soooo nice...

How come whenever THEY want to go out/to a party they have never got nothing to wear?so go and buy something,

All right, just most of them then!
Obviously you're not one of "them", or you wouldn't be here! Or have such a nice car!

I have a vivid memory of a cartoon I saw once - american bar, with a man collapsed in tears at the end. Barman says to another customer "It's a very sad case - his wife understands him".

Same with me - my wife understands me completely!
(not complaining though... she told me to say that...)

yes you can - to both, although to some people they both end up as a bit of a sentence! each to there own.

And i bet Fozzie has a fair few shoes and looks delightful in ever single pair. I bet she's got ....
work pair,
going out pair,
additional going out pair
summer pair,
winter pair,
sports pair,
garage pair,
dirty garage pair
scrap yard pair,
pootling around pair,
racing pair,
new racing pair.....

and i bet you've got your eyes on some a new FIA approved pair

Oooeer rumbled there Mike......

2 x Work shop/scrappies boots
1 x new driving ('7' and VXT) trainers (slip ons)
1 x FIA racing boots
1 x going out shoes
1 x Going out Knee high boots
1 x Going out ankle boots
1 x Flip Flops

But car 'stuff' always comes first
Have already got my new Burtons book that keeps disappearing

PS she even calls me in from the garage for topgear and cuppas when ever requested ( though I suspect this is to stop the mechanics fingerprints on everything) . Oh ps she also bought my wisbones.
