Tintop airbag warning light just came on
The Airbag light just cam on on my dash in my Subaru.
Before I go to the dealer with an open cheque, is there anything I can llok for check before I go?
Just out of waranty...

check the connections for the seatbelt pretensioners under the front seats, the light can come on if the seats have been moved for the first time in a
while, or peoples feet under the seats can break the connections, if only for an instant, i will bring the light on, if you were anywhere near me i
would plug my code reader in and find out for sure!

Don't do what unscrupulus dealers do and take the bulb out along with one or two other warning bulbs too

I had this on a pug 306 but it was intermittant, spoke to a guy who worked for a dealer and he said it was a common fault with the connector under the
seat as mentioned above.
Ned.

As said try the Connectors under the seat.
Pugs and shitreons always do it.

Had this on a peugeot,was the plug on the back of the steering wheel airbag had popped off.

Thanks guys, Checked the cables below the seats. Disconnected and reconnected and the light is now off...
