I use Azureus and mininova.org or isohunt.com - haven't had any problems so far!

same here isohunt.com piratebay.org mininova.org all good

use bitcomet as the download client (google will find it)

just remember to limit the upstream activity to something reasonable (3kb )

Actually your shooting yourself in the foot there as the whole system is designed to tailor your download speeds to upload speeds... You should optimise your upload speed by experimenting to see when you get the fastest downloads.

I bet you also don't seed files after you've downloaded - kind of goes against the whole 'sharing' idea!

Cheers

I do actually seed them over night but only @ 10kbps. I did have unrestricted but my ISP told me i was breaching my fair use. but interestingly during the day when it is capped i do not see any degrade in performance

Another vote for uTorrent - I used to use Azureus but got rubbish download speeds.

Check out http://btjunkie.org/ for decent torrents

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I use Bitlord. Not sure how it compares but is better than Shareaza which I used previously.

Azureus on bittorrent network and eMule on the eDonkey network.
Torrentspy.com , Torrentz.com and Pirate Bay to search for the torrents.
