Finally got the picture i wanted for my avatar!!!
ive been trying to work this out for a while, i wanted a screenshot off a DVD, when i pasted the clip into paint the movie was still playing so i
could not save a screenshot, i have now found it on YouTube and taken a screenshot from that so im quite pleased now lol

IrfanView [clicky] would've done this for you with its captue option most probably it is a very fast,
small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for non-commercial use) graphic viewer for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
Alternatively - you could've taken a picture of the movie playing on your TV with a digital camera!

In powerdvd you can take a snapshot to a file in .jpg format by pressing the little button with the camera picture or pressing c.
