A bit of severe weather warning paranoia these days I think. Weather men have to over tell it now for fear of them getting caught out again.
But I do like snow, just want to know whennto set the alarm for! coz after last weks snow panic , I'm not going near tye M25 if theres snow

Generous sprinkling in South Suffolk at the moment...
...make the most of it, 'cos there's supposed to be milder wet stuff following shortly behind.

The smallest amount of snow I've ever seen up here! Still enough to abandoned the fiesta in the sloped driveway and take the series 3 landrover out! Hope we get some more so Idon't have to go to work! Oli.

It's like a Christmas card outside, I'm just going to fetch the milk in I may be gone some time.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

The joys of winter weather

Nice to see that those south of the border are enjoying the seasonal weather.

I have a few inches of snow and it -10c last night.

I have been watching the news and I hate to say this but you would think the sky has fallen, the whole of the country is in turmoil with news reporters discussing "blizzard conditions" as a few flakes of snow gently settle onto a wooly hat they all seem to wear.

I know this is a rare occurance that far south but please, please keep it in perspective.

The tv was telling people to take torches clothes, food , a spade and go knows what all else as they drove the 400 yards to the shop in 2" of slush.

I await further snow fall with glee.
