one of my unique selling points was going to be to build a community around the website such as a forum, a blog where you can feature your car, and a after a while i will attempt to do a monthly get together.

my other unique selling point was that im going to add the feature of "design your own bodykit" whereby the customer sends a scetch of what they want their car to look like and i go buy a bumper from a car in the scrappy, cut it up and create the bumper around that to their designs, ive done simmilar for a few of my mates and its worked well.

i will maintain a close customer feedback improvement system so customers can recomend ways of bettering the site.

i will send out 5% discount vouchers each month to the registered users to hopefully get them to use the site more often.

im not sure i should be telling you all this lol

Not much to comment on really. But the idea is good & if you can offer specialist services like you describe it will attract surfers to your site. Did you take pictures of the work you have done? Maybe you could make a before & after page. One constructive criticism the banner at the top is'nt great & I hate the font of your title on it. If I get time I'll try & knock up a new banner for you to mull over. Cue> banner competition for Novacaine's site!

Before going any further with Oscommerce please take a look at Cube Cart
http://www.cubecart.com/site/home/

It's far easier to work with and there are plenty of free and locost mods.

Cheers,

My only comment, after reading the 'Forged Pistons' section for the 2.0l Zetec.

"Wössner Comp. ratio 12.0:1"

12.0:1!!! What the chuff are they intending to run that on, avgas?
Mind you, if you set your motor up for LPG full-time it'd be fine.
Hmmmmmmmmm

its the ratio that wossner use, i have no control over the spec unless the customer supplies drawings/spec sheet and i send to manufacturer at an extra cost

dont most ferraris use a 12:1 comp ratio?
surely optimax/98 octane would be good enough...

12:1 isn't that mad really. My mini runs at 11:1 on normal gas. Also ,the crazier the cam, the less the static compression matters.
