Selling my Tintop
Right then...
I need a big tow car to haul my race car around the country, so my tintop has to go. Can somebody help me make my mind up what to do with it...
Its 15 months old, and has 11k miles on the clock. I was due a service at 10k. Now do I have the service done before I sell it, or do I not bother,
sell it and let the new owner worry about it? I have it booked in for weds and it'll cost me £140. Or do I cancel the service and use that
money to advertise it? Or will a recent service make it more attractive?
Advice welcome

IMHO on a 15 month-old car, the full service history will be worth more to any prospective buyer than the £140 it will cost.
Personally, I'd not even entertain a car that didn't have the service book stamped and up to date, especially as it'll probably be
under warranty...

Service it, otherwise they'll only knock you down the cost of the service.

its needed
a recent service is a must!!!!!!!!!!
otherwise they will try to say its got problems, needs money spent, warranty problems, why did u not service it, is there a problem....... etc
etc...
service history for the 1st 3 years, up to date and correct is the most needed in a sale. after the 1st 3 years, the next 5 are important, after
that, anything goes. but the more bills etc you have the easier it is to sell.......................
GET IT SERVICED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
