Water, water, everywhere.

Is the north of England always this wet?

My tintop has never looked so clean.
It's like it's perminantly parked in a car wash.

Now wonder this city is famous for brown ale.
Exporting beer must be a way of getting rid of all that water.

No, sometimes it's wetter

Don't drink Brown ale, not pretty if you have too much (if you catch my drift).

Ho Ho... Said Brown Ale is for men... and puts hairs on your chest....

I have four now, but two are a bit loose!

Don't worry Paul - it's been persisting down in Suffolk over the last 24 hours! Not torrential, just continuous heavy rain, the sort of stuff that soaks you through after 5 yards walk to the car.

I felt like looking for my snorkel...

I think you're right Paul. All it does it rain up here. Well, when its not snowing, or hail stoning.

It actually did that to me once, was tootling up the M1 on a nice clear winters day, and bang on the watford gap services I drove into a blizzard Did make me chuckle, although the four hours it then took me to get to Rugby wore away my amusement...

I take it you were out in the toon then?

Check out the http://www.theburglarsdog.co.uk/

We were out too! Got soaked but didn't seem to notice as too drunk to care.

Back home in north Essex now.
I had a smashing weekend and the "trench foot" will soon be better I'm sure.

Your a right friendly bunch in Newcastle. Loved every minute.

Thanks to my offspring for putting us up, and the sneak preview of the clay masterpiece.

Wish I could have stopped longer and bumped into a few more of you.
