They truely do take the art of messing about to the next level.

You can only wonder - in dread - about what they'll do next!
I thought the Top Gear Winter Olypics was brilliant but todays topped that. Where next? Actually into space?

I hate when they take a car [usually that idiot Clarkson] on thier test track & start doing wheelspins & donuts etc. What does it prove except for the cameras to record something. A few months ago he did it to a Bently barge. These cars are built for comfortable [if poweful] cruising not ripping the tyres to shreds in your local Lidl car park as Clarkson [of a bitch] proved it could do. At least Fifth Gear has Tiff Needell as a test driver who can be respected as he has been there done it can comment professionally on a cars ability.

Well, 5th gear obvioulsy think the Top Gear program style is the one to aim for, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery etc. Tiff Needells driving talent is unfortunately more than canceled out by the cackling hag VBH and Tim "nice but dim" Lovejoy.

Tiff Needells driving talent

Sounds like an oxymoron to me, a bit like military intelligence . Any tit can smoke tyres and punt people off track if they have enough power. That's what he was famed for isn't it?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

What was clarkson on about "it's got 320 torks" "it's got 1000 torks"
I'm gonna write in and complain. I'm asuming he meant engine torque - but is that in Nm or ft lbs?
what next -
"how heavy is it " "oh it's 1.3 weights"
"how big is the fuel tank" "that would be 12 capacities"
Nobody else notice that?

He mentioned that the porsche emitted "400 carbon dioxides" last night.

With regard to torque, Clarkson has often said that few people understand what torque is, other than more is better, so why be specific. He should differentiate between Nm and Lbft though.
