I washed my ally RS2000 sump in the disher while 'The Boss' was shopping; it stank on the drying cycle.

Had to intentionally burn my dinner to cover the smell!!!!!

Be happy; both of you!

My girlfriend would have never found out. The dishwasher is my territory. She doesn't want to do the dishes because I have a dishwasher. And she doesn't know how it works so it is logical that I should fill it. And if I fill it; it is logical that I empty it too because what else would I do in the kitchen when I am making her a cup of tea and hot-waterbag to warm up the bed....

Mine helped take the inlet manifold off and put it in the dishwasher herself!

I'm sure you'd just left it on the worktop, it must have fallen in 'accidentally' while you were loading the machine....

I was quite surprised the other day, SWMBO was asking how the car was coming along, i'd said it was going pretty slowly as I was spending a lot of time cleaning up bits of donor, so she suggested bringing bits into the kitchen to clean in the evening

I thought it best not to tell her i've been doing that for years

I put my rocker covers in the dishwasher to clean them and popped them in the oven to cure the paint ...... kitchen stank for a week. Good job swmbo was in Spain at the time

I attacked my metal air box with an angle grinder (and ground off 10mm all the way round) and sanded down my nosecone edge in the kitchen.... Shortly afterwards I warmed up a whole load of aluminium up in the oven to braze it together!!!
Mind you I was rapidly single after that episode Oh well!!!!

I managed to drop a whole pot of red caliper paint over the wooden kitchen floor. It was one of those slow motion moments.

She was not impressed
