The rev limit looks a tad low for a truck or a bus.........
Is it one of those small commuter trains?

What about a straight 12 pushing out over 100000hp at 101.5rpm. Thats overspeed testing aswell!

I cant take the credit - it was Mr Google!
I thought trucks went to about 2500 - 3000k revs - but its been ages since I drove one, and that was only an 8 tonner to germany and back. Suprising
the respect you get from other road users!

this info was from banter in the pits at thruxton a couple of weeks ago. they blew one up! expensive weekend. the hole was about a foot by a foot and
a half!
the engines are modded and moved in the tractor unit to be lower and further back for centre of gravity.
they limit them to 100mph round thruxton for safety reasons

Ohh, that AlanB, hes such a card!
Google answers a lot of stuff that people wouldnt need to ask on here if a simple search is done....
About truck racers - I have always wondered how barriers for 600 kilo cars at tracks are meant to stop 10 tonne trucks.....
