That job is basically for the love of working for the Co. expect to demand around the £40-£45K mark so they do deserve a well qualified guy and he
gets a company car!!
I think it's a priceless job...

do you think i should apply for the job
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, Chardonnay in one hand, Tequila in the other, body bearing battle scars and totally worn out, screaming- WOO HOO!! What a Ride!

I'd love that job, its less than 5 minutes from my front door .
Its just a small matter of not having several of the attributes their looking for. Oh, and a degree in the wrong thing
"just like that !"

They will probs get someone at that level but to be honest that person will be robbing themselves.
Apart from the test driver bit i could do most of that job but would want more than 45K.

I would expect an average chief engineer doing that level of work in the automotive industry could demand easily 80 - 100K a year on top. Possibly a
lot more depending on track record.

Alan, I think the average salary in the UK is about £25 - 30k at the moment, but as a self employed person I am probably a bit out of touch.

Surely they'd have done better advertising it anywhere other than the UK... Catherham, Morgan and other large Brits left?
This is personal advise or personal opinion.
Constructive comments gratefully recieved, picking is left for noses.
