Renting garage
Does anyone rent or let a garage. My Tiger has been outside for a while now and i am getting fed up with rain and wind when i am trying to work on the
car.
Anyone know any good ones round the nottingham area?
Do you ever get any with leccy or are they only ever lock ups?
What do they cost?
Any help would be great
Thanks again
Rupert

I used to rent a garage in West Bridgford (Notts) off the council.
Usual type lock-up. No electricity but in a good area and seriously cheap (like £8 per week or something).... Managed with a deep discharge battery,
12v fluorescents and portable powertools...
Unlike at the moment where I've got a not very secure garage down in London (with electricity)- but I'm paying £45 a week for the
privelage....

Rent mine from our local council , they have just put the rent up to £6.36 a week . No electric and basic but have made a bit more secure and only a
couple of hundred yards from home . Use a big battery and an invertor for the lights, a bit of paint and a few sheets of plasterboard brightens it up
no end.

Friend of mine restored his classic mini(and now stores it) in an old truck he bought and towed to a position in front of his house.
He got the taillift to work and uses that to lift the car in an out. Only a two minute job after a lot of practice.
Cost him a 250euro and a promiss to take the guy from the breaker where he bougt it on a short trip............and to be used for pictures during the
guys wedding...
Idea?

That's like my hat to stop Murdoch's satellites from stealing my brainwaves. I'm not paranoid though, it's the voices that
told me about it.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
