I've only seen them in Blue and Silver myself. I see a Silver one around here beign driven by a guy in his 50s quite regularly. Certainly a
bit different

Don't be too surprised if you see a good few with repaired accident damage. Apparently the Mk 1 was quite good at trying to kill you! When I was
looking their was very few totally clean ones. Changed my mind in the end though, so never actually ended up driving one.

I have seen one in Burgundy but silver or blue are the norm, the Renault v6 is a reliable old lump but as mentioned the mk2 is far superior. I looked
at the mk1 a while ago but the high insurance and being inferior to the mk2 put me off in the end. Possibly the best looking 10k sports car there is!

Came second only to the new Fiat Panda 100hp - mainly because of its desire to throw you off the road. I think they said that if you were driving the
Panda and saw a Clio V6 going the other way and the driver was grinning you would know why, and they would understand if you bought it.
For reliability, it is a Clio with a Laguna engine basically, so no reason why it should be unreliable specifically.

did read somewhere that they love to oversteer and understeer at the same time as trying to kill you, the mk2 had a much better setup i beleave

go for the MK1 Clio williams, much cooler
the clio V6 looks very very good, and they are apparently homicidal, and after looking in the back of one i would assume servicing would cost an
absolute fortune, very difficult to get to the engine, much harder than a conventional bonnet so labour costs if things go wrong would also be sky
high.
if you get one post some pics up here
