Roofing Tiles per meter sq
I have a stack of old roof tiles in the garden that were there when i moved into my house.
I am now having the outbuilding bit of the house re roofed and wanted to reuse these tiles assuming they are in ok condition.
I will have a sort through them and count up how many good ones i have.
Does anyone know how many roofing tiles i will need per sq meter on a single pitch roof at about 15-20 degrees?
Thanks
ATB

Depends on the width of teh tile and the overlap. You'll need about 75mm for a 17 degree pitch.
Just measure the roof on the house and count them up

Roof tiles come in different sizes so it depends on which ones you have.
Lay a few out on the floor in their overlapped position and measure them?

60 per sq m plain tiles 10" by 6" or ten per sq m for "pan" tiles which normally interlock. for that pitch you will need pan
