Is this my starter motor?... Give me strength!
I know its an old post and he should have learned a bit more by now, but if he did not know what it was, should he really be unbolting things from his
car?????

To be fair... you gotta start somewhere!
Atleast the blokes giving it a go. He'll only learn by doing those jobs!

yeah
hope he learns from both!
(creating holes in sumps) and changing a sump!
saying that i to have needed to welded up my sump once 
its true that his best is that one...
atleast he doesn't say that the engine is in a painfull place to change a bulb or something

Lack of knowledge in a given field doesn't mean lack of intelligence. He probably knows more than I did when I started my car. He needs to buy
some books and read a lot of forum threads.
The only stupid people are the ones that don't ask first!
