"Project manager Ben Wood said he has tweaked the original engine and claims he can achieve up to 150mph (241km/h) given a long straight and a tailwind."

Do we have hurricanes that strong here?

"If we can build a high-performance car that can virtually be grown from seed, just imagine what's possible for the average family car."

What if you don't have a garden?

Where do I buy the seed to plant a field of these?

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

"with tyres made from potatoes"

Does it smell like a chippy when you powerslide it then?
Hey, I'm all for it, we ARE going to run out of oil so we'd better start looking at alternatives, as long as they're practical and sustainable.
