Something i wrote for my iPod
Im really sick of iTunes so ive started to write my own app to read/write the the iTunesDB file, as all the ones i found on the net were either crap
or cost money.
So far ive just got it reading the DB and it will let you extract the mp3s via drag and drop, which is quite handy if you want to share some mp3s with
friends.
All you need to do is drop it on your iPod and run it from there, shouldnt need any other dlls etc.
Once i get comfortable with the iTunesDB ill start allowing drag drop onto the app then i wont need iTunes at all
Download Linky
if you do happen to find any bugs let me know via U2U.
oh also it only reads the iTunesDB file so shouldnt stuff it up but please do take a backup first just incase.
