Putting a video onto a disc

i have a video on my computer, 132mb in size, that i need to put onto a dvd or cd to enable it to be played via a normal dvd player, and i need some help!

Firstly, does it have to be a dvd? Id guess so.

Format is a windows media audio/video file, do i need to change the format to put it to disc?

Any help appreciated, the missus wants it done by tomorrow!

You should be able to do it as a video c.d using nero or something like that , video cd can go on a normal cd?

There are loads of softwares out there which take a WMV and turn it into a MPEG2 to burn it onto DVD

AoA DVD Creator 1.8.3.0

i have lots of cd-r's, but it doesnt seem to work onto these. Is that due to format or just me being a dumbass?

Cheers for the help so far guys!

Use NERO 6.6 (not NERO 7 for Vista, as it doesn't work) it will convert into VOB and IFO's automatically and save you the hassle of converting twice. If you're proficient you can add menu's and stuff once you have got the hang of it.

DVD Santa is quite good but takes longer to convert and sometimes sync is out...

You can put it onto VideoCD but some players dont like the format and/or the disc's.

DVD is better.
