Twingo's

Hi guys,

I'll be looking at a Renault Twingo ('98, with the folding roof) for my G'f tomorrow. Anyone know what to look out for? So far a quick google gave:

* broken front springs on early cars
* rust on bonnet sides, under window seals and on the inside of the rear hatch.

Anything else i should look out for?

thanks,
Sebastiaan

Twingos was never made in RHD so they weren't sold here officially. You do occasionally spot one but few people know much about them.

My mates Portuguese G/F brought hers over here and then needed a new gearbox.....which caused quite a few issues....no idea if it's a common problem, just saying parts might be difficult to get.

Didn't realise that. Getting parts over here (the netherlands) won't be much of a problem....
