I don't like the bit about getting stuff nicked from the paddock. I regularly do track days at Donington and leave all sorts of tools and stuff in the pit garage when I'm out on the track. As for the Subaru - someone MUST have seen something - thieving barstewards

Imagine how you would feel if that was yours! Makes you feel sick thinking about it.

I hope they catch the scum or somebody catches the red handed and gives them a good kicking!

I recall a chum having his car taken from a big shopping centre. The security were telling the thieves who had just gone shopping so they had plenty of time to load the car onto a wagon and trundle off. As with such events, he scum know that folks will be away most of the day. But someone must have seen something!

I was gobsmacked too when I saw it, regularly use donny, its our local and never had a problem, I have since been told last year some pikeys used an AA van too tow away (read steal) several cars, none of us would think twice if you saw a AA van hitching up a car ?

I also remember been told about a trick used often, two thieves working on a car, one under bonnet disarming/muting the alarm whilst another stands around it aiming a remote key fob at it acting as if the keyfob is playing up and not working, would you look twice at that one ?

Had a mate in college who renovated an escort Mk2 RS 2000 a few years back, got it nicked and when the police found it he got told all the wheels had gone but otherwise it was o.k. When he went to pick it up the bast@!ds had taken the sump plug out and left it running. Some people are just evil

Hmm not nice but not surprising. I'm sure they were sitting in their cars just waiting for a target, really there should have been parking wardens walking around keeping an eye on the cars.

I have a big bike chain and a padlock that cost over £80 for the lock itself which I wrap round the chassis of ether my buggy or the falcon and then round something like a lamp post when I go into town or the cinema. Totally OTT??? no, cos I know the kind of scum that are around and I don't want to lose them or find the car burnt out.
