Changing the volume of a MP3 file.
Hi,
One of the things that is starting to get annoying is that some of the music I have downloaded seem to have different volume levels to each other,
some very quite and others blasting away.
Is there something in windows or the program that came with my I-pod that lets me change this?? I've had a look I drawn a blank.
Cheers.

highlight all your mp3's then right click, then go to info, you should then be able to adjust the volume so they are all the sae. (in itunes
anyway)

In Itunes
Preferences>Playback>Sound check
It wont work for your Ipod though. The only way you can changed the gains is to run all the music through a compressor.
Buy CDs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
