New Scrapheap Challenge Series
Hello All,
Ive just recieved the email below from RDF announcing the new series of Scrapheap Challenge.
"Hi Darren
Just to let you know... And hopefully you'll be kind enough to post this on your forum and forward to all your friends...
But after hours, days, weeks, and months of waiting for it, we are finally in a position to reveal that the ninth series of 'Scrapheap
Challenge' will start transmitting from this Sunday 15th April, at 17:40 on Channel 4.
Channel Four have decided to transmit the series in two parts. Programmes 1 to 8 will be transmitted weekly from Sunday 15th April until Sunday 3rd
June with programmes 9 to 16 from Sunday 14th October to Sunday 2nd December. It sounds strange but there is a natural split. All of the
'heats' are transmitted in the first run, while the rest of the competition follows in the second run along with the specials and the
Roadshows.
So please tune in and tell your friends, because at the moment, there's been almost zero publicity of all this!

can someone more organised than me please post a reminder for this on the day like the old Top Gear reminder posts?
Because i used to miss it on a regular basis!

I went in for series being filmed now - S10 - Even submitted audition DVD but missed out

Just keep trying and you might get in eventually. It will be nice for a locostbuilder to get on there and show the world how we do it
