radio code software on ebay

Anybody ever bought the radio code unlocking software off ebay? Does it work or is it full of viruses, spyware etc?? Unfortunately ive got 2 radios now to unlock and its cheaper to buy the software if its as good as it claims, than it is to buy the code off someone who does it for you (thats why i dont trust it). Or, anyone here care to do it for a few quid? Thanks
