LFS Pedals?

Just getting into LFS and I understand a steering wheel and pedals are better than using the keyboard, is that right?

If so which wheel and pedals are any good for LFS and Vista?

Any races for the demo before I buy the license?

Wheel and pedals make all the difference for LFS, well worth it IMO

But be carefull if buying analog steering wheel and pedals while using vista, it has no in built support for the old game port interface.

Cheers

I use a Logitec Force Feedback wheel. IMO force feedback is a great addition to gameplay. Not been online for ages now though

It all depends on how much you (want to)play the game, ive played LFS with everything from a £25 saitek non ForceFeeback to £150 Logitech G25 and to be totally honest your wasting your money on anythnig but the G25, my previous Thrustmaster RGT was about £90/100 and i can honestly say that compared to the G25 it felt as if it was worth about £5!
The G25 really is that good, however i do play quite regularly and was happy spending that amount, if you only going to play a couple of times a month it perhaps wouldnt be worth spending that much.

Can't comment on Vista, but surely playing with wheel and pedals is the way to go. I have a Logitech Formula Force wheel I bought on ebay for 15 EUR... perfect, force feedback is really nice.

I don't play day in day out, so G25 would be an overkill for me...

If I ever won the lottery though this one could be considered:
