Dont know much about the camp site as I live about 7 miles away so too near to have ever used it. Bolton Abbey is nice with the ruins to walk round ,
some woodland walks and a river that runs through it all, nice area for mountain biking too.
Its only 2-3 miles from Skipton, a nice market town with a castle, golf course, pool etc.
Its all just on the edge of the dales too so there's some nice roads around Settle, Hawes and over towards Grassington. Good fun in a quick car
or on a bike and some nice scenery if you want to take the time to see it

I am also 7 minutes away and also have never been to the campsite.
If you are into your walking then its an excellent base. There are also excellent kit car road arround that area. what your intrests ?
bolton abby villiage is verry small. There are some nice pubs arround but most are a car drive away.
PS phil I am a cobbydaler

(no, i'm not jesting. Part of the Bolton Crest refers to Coventry for this very reason)

Leeds Castle is most definitely in Leeds, just not the Yorkshire version.
I used to live just down the road in Lenham when I was a kid.

You might want to look at a map sometime It is in Kent, about a 10 minute walk from the village of Leeds

ptttttt Sure it used to be counted as in Leeds, now seems to have an address in the hamlet next door. But close enough for Jazz as they say.
