I think you will find it was CaLvinX that bought some and wasn't best pleased. He said that he had burned them and the flames then seemed to spread to the forum.

triton upset more than a few people on here with poor quality goods and a serious lack of communication to boot.

Well, I can only speak from my experience.
My Triton seats, were first class ..... and boy o boy, I am fussy!!!!!
Pics in my archive, I have now padded them as can be seen in my archive 'Fozzmobile April 2007', and no problems at the time with communication.......

Colibriman dissapeared as there were a few folks on here (me included) who were not best pleased as he sold dodgy engines that didn't work!! Seemed like a really nice bloke too I've got a non functioning 929 blade engine lying in the shed that i bought 2.5 years ago- i eventually bought another 954 engine from another source and am still out of pocket to the tune of £850. He promised to sort the problem, moved house and appears to have dissapeared off the planet

Interesting that The engines Colin is selling are in Kilmarnock. He told me he'd moved away from there over a year ago.

I must say that what happened with Colin was a big suprise, I got my R1 engine from him about 2.5 years ago and it was top notch (both product and service), honestly couldnt have been more helpful and I was happy to recommend him to others.

Having heard the problems that Scotlad etc had I would hazard a guess that he fell on hard times (ISTR he had issues with the house sale) and decided that he was better off burning all the good bridges he'd made on here and elsewhere and disappearing rather than refunding / replacing a couple of poor engines.

Very suprised to hear he's still trading on ebay, especially using the same name and from a similar location!

Looking at his Ebay feedback, he's been quiet for about a year since April 2006 then started selling bike engines again in the last couple of weeks.
