The riders all know the risks, but its even more tragic when what seems to be spectators are killed and injured,

Old sackface from Peformance Bikes was killed last year, IIRC also a police officer in the collision too.
Every year the TT claims lives and the riders fully know before it that riders die.
It is a freedom of choice thing.

Very very sad, apart from Sean Harris's fairly serious but now not life threatening injuries suffered in an accident in the Superstock race,
they'd had no major incidents up until this on the last day I dont think, horrible way to finish the centenary event

I always think back to Dave Jeffries when I read something like this, and it bothers me a bit again that someone as talented as him can crash there
(prob through no fault of his own), then it can happen to anyone!
