No point in speculating BBC Sports Personality for this year then?

Good on him! Here's hoping for another win for the next race.

It'll be disapointing if he doesn't get it - not only has he excelled himself already, and answereed his and Ron Dennis's critics about him not being ready etc, he's really raised the profile of F1 and also made the sport interesting again

Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased for the guy and wish him well but I just wish ITV-F1 would talk about more than just Lewis Hamilton!

Thank heaven for Sky+ , I could spin through most of the hype.

It's a shame that Ferrari are struggling or it would be much more interesting. The formation finishes mean I lose interest after the last round of pit stops as nothing is likely to happen.

so let's have them talk about the monumentally unsuccessful cricket, rugbe and football team. beat the gong whilst there is one to beat I say.

I think he is doing a grand job. Must be tough trying to stay ahead of a World Champion.

Id like to see him take a win after battling from further down the grid. Of course he will need more experience to get wins in more diffciult circumstances but for me im happy to settle for a win no matter how it is got. Quite an awesome feat.

And how scary must it be to be doing those speeds with a concrete wall to catch you should something happen

Not sure I'd want the "ITV-F1" team to diversify their commentary that much, just easing down on the hype would be sufficient...

Oh, and speak for yourself - the Scottish football team is doing better than it has for many many years!!
