I was going to say "when did anyone see a traffic policeman on the road?" but remembered that I was hammering home last night, only to see
a police bike parked in a side road! He was just parked, being visible, watching the cars go by - fortunately I'd spotted him from way up the
road, so I was only slightly OTT when I went past...
Otherwise - the answer is "not been done, don't know anyone who has".

Yup a lad at our work got caught... and expected me to pay 1/2 the fine as it was me who rung him lol!
They regularly sit on busy commuter routes into Leeds to easily catch people as the traffic crawls in... altho he got caught as some police were about
to pull out of a side street he was driving past the end of.

Official figures due out this Autumn - if you believe in politicians honestly answering questions.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

TBH - I see them (people flaunting the Mb Phone Law) all the time after the initial ceasation following the introduction of the new law. The
fines/profits are obviously not enough for the Police (which I'm sure is an acronym for something) to do something about. ATEOTD if they make
enough money from the Road Speed Tax Cameras and sitting on there arses, why get off of it until they need more money?
I used to support the Police but the Government is ruining everything, now I just consider the Police as another arm of the Inland Revenue.
Don't do anything unless there's money for them.... (dont start me on that one - now on a K600 Tax Code!!! :mad

keep your eyes peeled, and be ready to hit the loudspeaker button and drop the phone you dont even need to stop talking
I intend to keep talking on my phone for as long as it is still legal to have naked flames inside the car, talk to passangers, or use dictaphones.
