Anyone from Cardiff know a good tyre place
HELP!
I was working in Cardiff this afternoon, just loaded up the car ready to drive back to Newcastle and spotted a puncture on the passenger rear tyre.
Emptyed the boot out, changed the tyre, only to discover my car has a space saver spare tyre, max 50 mph for 50 miles.
AR$E
Check my watch, 6.05pm. AR$£. Rang a few local tyre companies, all shut. So faced with a 320 mile drive home, I have decided to stay in Cardiff
tonight.
Any locals know a good tyre place I can go to early tomorrow morning to get the puncture fixed? Should be able to get it fixed as it was a bloody
great screw through the middle of the tread. Don't really want to replace the tyre as it's only done 1938 miles from new!
Directions / phone numbers gratefully received!
Cheers
Mike
P.S. Anyone know a good Chinese and / or Pub in Cardiff?

I don't know about the tyres, but last time I was in the centre of Cardiff there was no shortage of curry houses, Italian restaurants, pubs,
whatever.
Should find them reasonably friendly too, as long as you don't speak a foreign language like Geordie to them!

The cheapest that I know of:
Cardiff Tyre & Exhaust Specialists
Beresford Rd Lane, Cardiff, South Glamorgan CF24 1QU
Tel: 029 2049 5136
I'd suggest that you ring them to try tp get some directions from where you are but if you head out of the centre of Cardiff along Newport Road
as though you were to join the A48(M). You should have loads of B&B-types on either side. You then come to lights and you head slightly right.
Staying in the right hand lane, the road opens up. There's a big pub (name escapes me) on your right and you need to turn right alongside it.
If you see Dunelm Mill, Maplin and TGI Fridays you've gone too far. Having turned by the pub take an almost immediate left down a lane. You
should have arrived.
Good Luck!
