Here's a few pics of a Sierra goldmine not too far from here, I called in when I saw the place, he builds Indys. The only parts he'll sell
are the bits we don't need
He sorted me out with a new starter though, cos he doesn't use the DOHC.
There's not many Sierras left on the roads around here, he's bought 'em all

http://forum.fordsierraclub.co.uk/ is good
but you may have to do 20 posts before you're allowed to use the buy / sell areas. Alternatively, you can register as an associate for £5.00 and
start trading as soon as they do the admin.
Be aware that the forum is dedicated to keeping Sierras on the road, not scrapping them, so be tactful

A real bargan at £75 Inc all the rear brakes
Although I think he kind of felt sorry for me the car didn't look like it had moved for years it had 3 foot stinging nettles all round it:

The DVLA resource reckons there are still 75,000 Sierra's on the road in the UK so should be dead easy to get parts.
There's a few on ebay and a one 3 doors away from me that I'm waiting until it fails the mot then its mine!!

Round my way (Suffolk/Essex) the scrap dealers don't hang onto older cars for long. They'll keep the modern ones 'cos they can make
money fairly quickly out of the useful spares, but anything that's likely to sit around gets torn to pieces and recycled almost immediately.
The metal in a scrap car is worth a fair bit of money to them now.
