Sprayed on with a special coating. Lots of different coatings available. What plastic are you looking to have done?

you can now have it done on Metal, sprayed that is.
a guy came to our Stand at a show last week, gives us some bumf on it (see if i can find it), reckons hes the only one in the country doin it, can
also do it with a hint of colour behind.
here you go, NTDWM.

If you mean such items as; scent bottle tops, coffin handles etc., then the items to be coated are covered with a fine layer of aluminium which is
evaporated and then deposited, on the item, in a vacuum chamber. The item is then sprayed with a clear laquer for a chrome effect, or yellow for a
brass effect.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
