Tube bending tutorial

Does anyone have any info or links on how to go about bending tubes to certain sizes.
i.e. a roll bar of certain centre distances between the uprights and how to calculate fro the radius of the bend and allow for material length to cover deformation etc.
Not very clear but I'm sure some of you will know what I mean
