Long time since i've been but was a good Chinese called the Wet Wok near west pier if you booked you can sit by the glass front which often has
the waves breaking on it.
You also had to time your entrance between the waves if it was a bit rough.

Yea Barbican is very good, there are absolutely loads of restaurants down there.
The Village is very good food-Greek food as well as you other usual stuff, can defo reccomend the mix grill its fab.
Piermasters is excellent if you dont mind paying a bit extra, which is located next to The Village.
Tanners is excellent food but very pricey but im sure it will impress any one who eats there.
If not there are loads of others rests down on the barby, you will be spoilt for choice, hope this helps
cheers Colin

Lorenzo's at Derrys cross is good for a tapas style lunch in town. The Souk on Harbour ave is great for Morrocan food. China House, Sutton
harbour is good for a pub style lunch sitting out on the waters edge in the sun. Zucca, Sutton Harbour for Italian food. Thai Palace on Elliot street
for excellent Thai food (strangely enough). I would give the Barbican a miss apart from Piermasters which is not what it was. Downgraded from superb
to excellent!

No ones mentioned Captain Jaspers? Can't go wrong with a coronary in a roll
Tanners does some top nosh, had our wedding dinner there, but make sure your wallet is well loaded!
If you fancy a quiet meal in picturesque surroundings, the Elfordleigh Hotel is very nice, but not overly
close to the city center.
