I like it!
the Audi R8 ofcourse. Saw two of these on Sunday morning, very nice indeed.
Reckon Audi now make some of the best looking cars, better than Rover, that's for sure
shame it does only 20 mpg.

Yes very nice, although the only one iv'e seen on the road was white, and those black panels made it look like a taxi LOL
My pal has one on order, so might even get a ride in one soon.

Hope they got out OK (looks parked so hopefully they got enough warning), that's going to need more than one bottle of T-cut.

I guess they would - read it is aluminium chassis whicih will "burn" better than steel - wasn't that the reason given for so many
deaths and injuries in the Falklands when the ships, built using using aluminium, were hit by exocet?

Certainly a lot of the shipping losses were caused by Aluminium alloy boats burning.
Do you remember that picture of HMS Sheffield burning after an Exocet hit - it was on the front page of just about every national paper of the day.

The aluminium fire theory was debunked after the war, but of course the red tops forgot to correct the story. HMS Sheffield had a steel
superstructure. The official report claimed the problem was ineffective fire fighting equipment and poor training.

I know the gunnery officer who was on the Sheffield - he reconned he needed another 10 seconds to stop the Exocet but didn't have it - well,
that was his story anyway ....
