metallic powder coat
hi has anyone had any parts done in metalic powder coat ive been quoted 35 to do the chassis in it. is the finish like car metallic or does it come
out dull.

no we use them at work and he said bring it around and he will put it to the tea fund lol. i told him how big it was and he seemed ok about it. he
said he has any colour and to take any other bits to i have to him.he dosent no what hes let him self in for pmsl.

alloys on my car were powder coated it silver metallic. same look at paint, maybe not as shiney as a car though, but looks very nice

Smart ForTwos have powder coated chassis. The silver powder coat looks like silver metalic paint.

I got my chassis done in silver - it's sort of a satin gloss which actually suits it well. Almost exactly the same as Silver Smoothrite so touch
ups don't show too much (handy for the 'oops' factor)

Mate of mine had his chassis done in silver. When first done it was very shiny and metallic. Over the months it's become more and more silver
grey.

this is one of my front hubs
its sliver powdercoat, but without the clear top coat so its more silver/grey (I don't know much about it, but the guy doing it reconed it
wouldn't be tough enough)
ignore the red - its just paint
