Ebay 'submit best offer' time limit
On an ebay 'buy it now or submit best offer' auction I submit an offer of £65 for a 3.9 v8 engine and the offer is ignored. Fair enough
thinks I, until it ends early less than a day later for £60 to someone else!
Why is there a set time limit on offers when you can only submit a single offer per auction?
The search for an engine continues...
If at first you don't succeed, hide all evidence you ever tried!

Do you know that it actually sold for £60? If the current highest bid was £60 when the auction was finished early thats what would have been shown.
This doesnt mean the highest bidder is the one that offered the money to end it early.
Someone could have sent an email to the seller offering £200 to end the auction early without bidding and would not be shown.

Ebay sucks, I use forums to buy most of my stuff now, its a waste of time.
