Linear motion component sources.
Evening folks.
I'm currently working on a personal project to build a CNC hot wire cutter, for cutting EPS foam.
I have a few design concepts, that all use different types of linear motion parts, and I need to decide which one to go for. One design uses round
rail and linear bushings (either ball, or just plain bushes), another design uses rails and the trollies that mount to them, and another uses slide
guides.
I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent (cheap, and good quality!) supplier of all things related to linear motion components, such as
ball screws, acme lead screws, linear bearings, slide ways etc etc.
I'm already looking at a company called Misumi, who we use at work, and I have also seen a company called Marchant Dice. Any others?
Cheers
Andy
Dammit! Too many decisions....

Merchant Dice on ebay seems to be pretty reasonable.
Let us know how you get on- I'm sure there are a few of us that would be interested to hear about it.
